RECOVER THE FAITH
BOTH IN THE PERSONAL AS IN THE FAMILY, SOCIAL AND COLLECTIVE WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH DIFFICULTIES, as a species.
In fact there are theories in Neuroscience that support the hypothesis that the Human Brain only develops in difficulty and not in facilitation. If everything is easy, the Brain does not evolve, it becomes lazy so to speak.
Our ancestors have had to overcome their fear of death, pain, loneliness, old age, scarcity and have had to develop strength, temperance, cohesion and of course FAITH.
We can speculate that Faith used to have different characteristics, human life depended on the elements of Nature, the animal spirit, the nobility of the Earth, the provision of Water,
of the bounty of the forests and later of the miracle of Fire.
Even today in the winter months we feel that relief when we are together in front of the heat of a good fire, a fact that refers us to the heat of the sun's rays and therefore to life.
To the vital spark, shelter and abundance.
And in this sense we resume the course of how important Faith is in shaping one as an individual, as a family and as a society.
Even today, so far removed from our ancestral histories, we believe that we see those spirits of Power in animals.
Who among us does not need the courage of a wolf, the subtlety of a cougar or the dexterity of an eagle? Even today in our bond with pets, the protection of a dog or the tenderness of a kitten survives in them, reminding us of those pagan Gods who once lived on Earth with us.
But coming back, no matter what your faith is, the meaning is knowing that something beyond the limitations of this world CAN PROTECT YOU.
That something beyond this World will not die and protect yours, that something beyond this world, even if it is not rational, has no End and that its Power is immense.
No one should judge another, for believing in the healing vibrations of a Quartz when activating the Chakras or energy centers.
Not if that Cult is pagan and diverse like the Mythologies that populated the world with Goblins and Mythological Beings.
Nor if they are Saints who do not belong to the Catholic Saints but to the Orthodox, like my beloved Saint George.
Always ready to defeat Evil.
The important thing is that you make a space for it in your house.
It should not be a large space, but a unique space.
It can be a shelf, a shelf, a serene place in the house where you can safely light a candle, put the keys to your house, photos of your loved ones and everything that needs help or comfort.
It can be an image, an illustration, a sacred Figure or whatever it is that renews your Spirit, strengthens your spirit and gives you serenity especially in these times.
